Michael Jackson's Thriller is a iconic. It is loved the world over. It is the greatest selling record of all time.
Dancing is healthy and a fun way to keep fit. No treadmills, no weights... Just music and movement. If you have never danced before, think of this as an exciting personal challenge. If you have always wanted to learn the Thriller routine, think of this as a dream come true.
As a world record philanthropist and ceaseless humanitarian, Michael gave over $300,000,000 to charity. Continue these honorable actions.
Anyone and Everyone! That's right, everyone is eligible, as long as you can get up and dance, and you are available on Thrill Day then you can Thrill the World! There's no experience necessary. You don't have to be a dancer, we will all learn the dance together.
Last year 2011, it SNOWED ON THRILL DAY AND STILL NYC ZOMBIE MARCHED ON, we represented with 78 NYC zombies. 10AM (47 adult & kid zombies) & 10PM (31 zombies). Total: 194 events and 12,297 Zombies, 29 countries with the biggest events: 650, Dublin, Ireland; 560, Long Beach, CA, USA.
In 2010, 20 NYC Zombies danced in Times Square @ 7am & 97 zombies danced @ 7pm in Coney Island with a combined estimated total of 9,952 worldwide!
The 2009 event was nothing other than bitter sweet. Michael Jackson's passing shook the world and ignited a passion to pay tribute to the King of Pop. Thrill The World brought 22 571 people together in 276 events from 264 cities in 33 countries the world over all in tribute to the life and music of Michael Jackson. Collectively the events would raise over US $100,000 for over 80 charities and not-for-profit organizations. NYC represented with 97 hardcore dripping wet zombies.
